This scheme is a great way to develop your navigation skills whilst working towards a nationally recognised award. The scheme comprises three levels.
Bronze: Two days covering the basics of map reading and navigation, leaving you confident in planning and finding your way on paths and tracks.
Silver: Two days developing skills and strategies to navigate in open countryside away from paths and tracks.
Gold: Two days training and a seperate one day assessment. The gold award covers advanced planning and navigation techniques for complex terrain and conditions.
